This was a simple design for a fellow Mermaid who was competing in the Miss Mermaid USA pageant. She is an advocate for recycling and cleaning up our Lakes, rivers and oceans. So along with the two-tone sequin fabric, I decided to use my guitar pick method on part of the bodice for reusing and upcycling.

I’m really excited for the design we are plotting on for her this year!
