It started with an idea, to create a dress from comic books. This dress was my first recycled/reused sewing project and entry into the State Fair of Texas Creative Arts Competition.

I love how beautiful comic book art is and felt like it needed to be put on display! This dress is made from Star Wars comics and trading cards for the bodice. All is completely sewn on a machine. Absolutely no tape or glue is in this dress.

The flowers were all origami folded by me and hand sewn on.
